Zahra Nanji is a self-taught poet whose work is deeply influenced by the ever-changing landscapes and cultures she has encountered throughout her life. Having relocated many times, Zahra’s poetry reflects the profound impact of adapting to new places and embracing diverse perspectives. With a background in fine arts, her writing is infused with a creative, visual sensibility, capturing the raw emotions and transformative moments of her journey. Inspired by the people who have shaped her life, her poems explore themes of love, loss, and the quiet power of change. Through her words, Zahra gives voice to the powerful forces of growth, resilience, and the beauty found in the most unexpected places.

In addition to poetry, Zahra is the author and illustrator of four self-published children’s books, available on Amazon, created for young readers between the ages of 2 and 12. Drawing on her artistic background and deep empathy, her stories gently guide children through complex emotions, unfamiliar situations, and challenging topics that are often left unspoken.
